Tony Marino is a pianist, composer, recording artist and Engineer.
When I was in grade school, I developed an interest in music. I have studied music and have played in bands since high school. Currently I have focused on composing and recording original music. This year I released my 15th album titled “Tony Marino — Cold Pizza”.

Q: How long have you been creating music?
I started in 1968 when I was 7 years old and have been at it ever since.
Q: Do you have a preferred genre?
In the following order here are my preferences: Brazilian Jazz, Afro-Cuban Jazz, BeBop, Tango, World Music, Funk, Rhythm and Blues, Classical and any style of music played by good musicians
Q: Do you write your own music, or do you collaborate?
I enjoy playing and performing with other musicians: however, I prefer to write and record alone.
Q: Tell us about your latest song, EP, or album.
My latest release is called “Tony Marino — Cold Pizza”. It contains 10 new original compositions that are a variety of styles such as Tango, Frevo, BeBop, Blues, Bossa and Samba.
Q: What is the best song you ever released and why?
This is a very hard question to answer. I would have to give this question to people who listen to my music.
Q: Do you, or would you like to, perform live?
Over the past few years, I have been concentrating on composing and recording. I get more enjoyment writing and recording than I do performing live.
Q: Which of your songs is, or do you think would be, fun to perform live?
Depending on the band and configuration of instruments, all of my music would be challenging and fun to perform live in front of an audience that likes Jazz and World Music.
Q: What is your favorite/best outlet to connect with your followers Instagram, Spotify, FB, Twitter, iTunes? How would you want them to follow?
All of the outlets are fantastic. It is a personal choice. We are on all of them.
Q: Are you currently working on any projects we should look out for?
Over the past 5 years we have released 9 albums. The latest release is called “Tony Marino — Cold Pizza”.
I am currently working on a solo piano album that is tentatively schedule to be released early in 2023.
